Bowls Matua has a variety of fun stuff for new bowlers, non-bowlers and current members to enjoy:
Twilight Bowls – October to March on a Monday evening.
Corporate Functions – Hire our green and clubhouse for staff parties, weddings, engagements, birthday parties or any other occasion.
Wednesday Cards and Mahjong –
Thursday is Bolivia day
Bowls is not quite as formal as it was in the past but for the competitive bowlers there are still rules and regulations to abide by, more information about Tournaments, Rules and Regulations, Dress Requirements and Coaching can be found under the Serious Stuff Menu.

Bowls Matua is a community Sports facility where the main activity is quite obviously playing bowls but the club is highly valued by members and visitors for the strong fellowship, sportsmanship and straight out fun that makes membership so enticing. A range of abilities and competitiveness can be found, including many who through health would otherwise struggle to take part in a sport. The wide range of ages and backgrounds gives testament to the popularity of belonging to this strong club.
